Il Gelato - Di Ferigo in Cologne

Write today the review is a while ago. Something has changed. The taste is no longer like it used to be. More sugar? Another recipe? I am amazed ... Pistachio very noticeably different in taste. The quality has really deteriorated. How can that be? New owner? YES More sugar? Different nut quality? Other ice cream ingredients? Other quality? Eat ice cream here for years. Several times a week in summer. If it stays that way with the ice cream, I'll leave.

What can I say? It tastes good. It's not exactly cheap, but in my opinion it's worth it, because: really delicious.

For me, the best ice cream you can buy. We have been coming here for 10 years and live 40km away. A few years ago I would have given it 5 stars. However, I have the feeling that the recipe has been changed for one or the other type of ice cream. Could it be that there is less pistachio and more sugar in the pastachio ice cream? Of course the ice cream is still great, but no longer a bomb. With old quality there are also 5 stars again.

For me personally the best ice cream parlor in Cologne. Even if you stand in line, you can get your ice cream quickly. No rubbish as there are waffle cups and the ice cream is delicious. Feel free to stand in line 😁

The ice cream is delicious. Priced at € 1.50 per ball, certainly in the slightly higher price segment, but it's worth it. The croissant cup was fresh and crispy. Our children had chocolate and raspberry. The taste was very intense. Simply put, it tasted like what taste it represented. I haven't eaten such good ice cream in a long time. Please keep your quality. Every visit is worth it.

Can't understand the enthusiasm. The ice was fine, but the varieties we tested were nothing special, certainly nothing that would make a long trip worthwhile. The price is a bit too expensive, especially since the balls are not large. The location is also very uncomfortable, you almost stand in front of the ice cream parlor on the street, or on the sidewalk, in order to eat your food somehow constricted by other customers ...

They have the most fabulous Italian ice. The menu varies slightly but the salted carmel and pistachio are above all my favorites. But the weekly specials such as Galina melon or banana are always a surprising delight

The best ice cream in Cologne !!! Great selection, always fresh and high-quality ingredients, fair prices and a very personable and quick staff. Even with a long queue, it is worth standing in line, because you are served really quickly here! Not to be forgotten are the delicious cappuccino and espresso. :)

It was worth traveling over 450 miles , a taste of heaven in icecream form , so many flavours to choose from you need more than one visit to sample them all .
